Fourteen in the daily 12×12 grid. The easy and large-print puzzles have ten words in a 10×10 grid.

Do words go backwards?

Yes, in the daily puzzle: words run across, down and diagonally, in either direction. The Easy Word Search page has a forwards-only version.
