Does Suvi have ads?
No. While Suvi is new there are no ads at all. No banners, no pop-ups, nothing before a game starts and nothing to watch. Where a game would offer a short ad for a hint, a second chance or another go, it gives you that free instead, within the same daily limits.
If ads come later, they will only ever be short ones you choose to watch, in return for something you asked for: a hint, a second chance, another puzzle. Never banners, never pop-ups, never in the middle of a game.
The rules any ads will follow
- Always your choice. An ad is offered with a button; "No thanks" is always there and costs you nothing.
- Never twice in a row. If you say no, we don't ask again straight away.
- A daily limit. There is a hard cap on how many ads anyone can watch in a day.
- Never in the middle of a game. If we ever show an ad between games, it will never interrupt a game in progress and never appear in your first visits.
These rules are written into the code that every game shares, so no test or setting can switch them off.
Why ads at all?
If they come, it will be to pay for the games, so the daily puzzles can stay free for everyone. A short ad you chose, for a hint you wanted, feels fairer to us than a page covered in banners.
