Yes, one position per day for everyone in your time zone. Compare times with friends, the share card never shows the answer.

Do I need to be good at chess?

You need to know how the pieces move. Mate-in-one days are for beginners; the mate-in-three days will stretch club players.

Where do the puzzles come from?

Accepted Answer

Our own engine generates positions and verifies that exactly one first move forces mate in the stated number of moves. Nothing is copied from books or databases.

What if I play a different winning move?

Accepted Answer

If it also forces mate in the same number of moves it counts. Puzzles are checked so that's rare, but the engine judges, not a list.
