About Darts on Suvi
This page opens straight into a game of 301 against the computer. Easy hits the board, mostly; Medium throws like a decent pub player; Hard goes for the treble 20 and finds its finishes. Hold your finger on the board, steer the aiming mark (it drifts like a real hand), and let go to throw. A hint shows where to aim for your finish, your record at each level is kept on this device, and a game left half-way is waiting when you come back. Want a person instead? Two can share one phone, or send a friend a link.
How to play
- Press and hold on the board: an aiming mark appears just above your finger.
- Steer it where you want the dart to go. It drifts like a real hand, and more the longer you hold.
- Let go to throw. Three darts a visit; each dart's score comes off what you need.
- Finish on exactly 0 to win. Go below 0 and it's a bust: back to where you started the visit.
Controls
On a phone or tablet: Hold your finger on the board, steer the mark (it sits just above your finger), let go to throw.
On a desktop: Move the mouse to aim and click to throw, or use the arrow keys to aim and Space to throw. H asks for a hint.
Tips
- Early on, aim at the treble 20 (top, the inner thin ring). Miss it and you still score 20, 1 or 5.
- Don't hold too long: aim, let your hand settle for a moment, then let go.
- Under 60, think about the finish: 32 is a double 16, 50 is the bull, 25 the ring round it.
- Need an awkward number? Hit a single that leaves 20 or 40, a big bed that's easy to finish on.
Questions
- Do I need a double to finish?
- Not here: it's 301 straight out, so any dart that makes exactly 0 wins. Going below 0 is a bust, and the visit scores nothing.
- How good is the computer?
- Easy hits the board most of the time; Medium throws like a decent pub player; Hard aims at the treble 20 and plays for its finishes. All three miss like people do, so every game is different.
- Can two people play on one phone?
- Yes. Choose Two players: you throw your three darts, then pass the phone. Both scores and every visit's darts are always on screen.
- Can I play a friend online?
- Yes: choose With a friend and send the link. You each throw on your own phone and see the other's darts land.
- Is it free?
- Yes, every game, with no account and nothing to download.
