Daily Memory Workout

A two-minute memory workout in three short rounds. New every day.

About Memory on Suvi

Memory is a two-minute workout in three short rounds, each a different kind of memory. Pairs is the classic card game: flip two cards at a time and find all eight pairs in as few moves as you can. Sequence lights up tiles on a three-by-three pad, each with its own shape and note; tap them back in order, and it grows by one every time. Grid flashes a pattern of squares for a moment, then asks you to tap them from memory, with three lives. The rounds add up to one score out of 1000. Everyone gets the same workout each day, so you can compare scores with a friend without spoiling a thing. How many can you hold? Every card, tile and sound is drawn and played by code, and Settings has slower flashes and large tiles.

How to play

  1. Pairs: tap a card to flip it, then another. A match stays face up; a miss turns back over. Find every pair in as few moves as you can.
  2. Sequence: watch the tiles light up, then tap them back in the same order. Each time you get it right, the sequence grows by one.
  3. Grid: a pattern of squares flashes for a moment. Tap every square that lit up. A wrong square costs one of your three lives.
  4. Your three rounds add up to a score out of 1000. Share it, then come back tomorrow for a new workout.

Controls

On a phone or tablet: Tap cards, tiles and squares; each round fits on one screen. The ⚙ button has slower flashes, large tiles and a colour-blind palette.

On a desktop: Click, or move with the arrow keys and press Enter. In Sequence, keys 1 to 9 match the tiles from the top left. Enter starts the next round.

Questions

Is it the same workout for everyone?
Yes. Each day has one workout, the same cards, sequence and patterns for every player, changing at midnight in your time zone, so scores are comparable.
How is the score worked out?
Pairs is worth up to 400, scored by your moves against a player with perfect memory on the same cards. Sequence and Grid are worth up to 300 each: 25 points for every step of the sequence you repeat and every grid level you clear.
Is this a medical or clinical test?
No. It's a game, made for fun: a short daily memory workout with a score to beat. It isn't a health test and makes no promises about your memory.
Can I play more than once a day?
Yes. Today's workout counts for your streak, and two extra workouts a day are free. While Suvi is new, every past workout is open to everyone too.
Can I make it easier to see?
Yes. Settings has slower flashes, large tiles, large text and a colour-blind palette; every tile also has its own shape, so colour is never the only clue. Reduce motion slows the flashes rather than removing them.
Is it free?
Yes, with no account. After your free retry each day, a few more are on us while Suvi is new, with no ad to watch.
