About Word Search on Suvi

Large print means a 10×10 grid at the biggest letter size that fits your screen, with ten words from the day's theme. Words still run in every direction. It's made for tablets and for anyone who finds the standard grid too small; the Large text setting makes the word list bigger too.

How to play

Find every word in the list. Words run in straight lines: across, down, diagonally, and sometimes backwards.
Swipe from the first letter to the last (or click and drag on a computer). The line snaps to the nearest direction.
Found words stay highlighted and get crossed off the list. Find them all to finish and log your time.
Stuck? Hint lights up the first letter of a word you haven't found.

Controls

On a phone or tablet: Put your finger on the first letter and swipe to the last. Lift to check. Tap Hint if you need a nudge.

On a desktop: Click the first letter and drag to the last. Release to check.

Tips

Scan for unusual letters first: a Q, a Z, a J or an X narrows a word down fast.
Look for the first two letters together, then follow the line.
Backwards words hide best in rows you read left to right. Read the grid in reverse now and then.
The list is alphabetical, not in grid order: the last word on the list might be the first you spot.
