About Jigsaw on Suvi
Jigsaw is a calm daily puzzle for your phone or computer. Every day there is a new picture, a lighthouse at sunset, a snowy village, a rose window, a harbour full of boats, drawn by Suvi's own painter in code, so you won't have seen it anywhere else. Everyone gets the same picture and the same cut that day. Pick 12 pieces for a quick one, 35 for a coffee break or 70 for a proper sit-down. Pieces wait in a tray under the board; drag one to its spot, or tap it and then tap where it goes. A faint ghost of the picture helps if you want it, and there's no clock pressure: the timer is only there for your share card.
How to play
- Choose 12, 35 or 70 pieces. Everyone gets the same picture and the same cut today.
- Drag a piece from the tray onto the board. Close to its spot, it snaps in with a click.
- Or tap a piece, then tap the place on the board where it belongs.
- Use Edges to sort out the frame first, Ghost to show a faint copy of the picture, and Bigger to zoom in.
- Finish the picture to see it whole, keep your streak and share your time.
Controls
On a phone or tablet: Drag a piece up out of the tray onto the board; it floats above your finger so you can see where it goes. Or tap a piece, then tap its spot. Swipe the tray sideways for more pieces; pinch or tap Bigger to zoom.
On a desktop: Drag pieces with the mouse, or click a piece then click its spot. Keys: E edges, G ghost, H hint, Z zoom, M mix the tray; arrows and Enter move round the board.
Tips
- Do the frame first: turn on Edges and the tray shows only the border pieces.
- Sort by colour in your head: sky, water and land pieces rarely mix.
- A tab on one side means a blank on the neighbour: the shapes are a clue as well as the picture.
- Stuck on a big patch of sky? Look for small shifts in the colour; no two pieces are quite the same.
- Turn the ghost off for a proper challenge.

Questions
- Where do the pictures come from?
- Suvi paints them itself. Every picture is drawn by our own code from that day's seed: no photos, no copied artwork and no AI images. A new one arrives at midnight in your time zone.
- Is the puzzle the same for everyone?
- Yes. Everyone gets the same picture and the same cut for each size on a given day, so you can compare times with a friend.
- How many pieces can I choose?
- 12, 35 or 70. Your progress on each size is kept separately, so you can start a big one and finish it later today.
- Can I play more than one a day?
- Today's picture is free, plus two extra pictures a day. While Suvi is new, every past picture is open to everyone too.
- Is there a time limit?
- No. There's a timer for your share card, but no clock to beat and no way to fail. Hints show where a piece goes: one a day is free, and while Suvi is new a few more are on us, with no ad to watch.
- Does it work on a phone?
- It's made for phones first: big pieces, a tray you swipe, pieces that float above your finger, and a zoom for 70-piece puzzles. It works with a mouse and keyboard too.
