Tidy: Endless

Room after room, gently harder as you go. No timer, no daily limit.

About Tidy on Suvi

Endless is Tidy for when one room isn't enough. Every room is freshly made and checked by our solver before you see it, so it can always be finished. You start with five kinds of things to sort and get one more every two rooms, up to nine, so it stays relaxing but never goes stale. Your progress and your best room are kept on this device. The daily room is the one everyone shares; this one is just for you.

How to play

  1. Tap a shelf to lift its top item. Any identical items right underneath come with it.
  2. Tap another shelf to put them down. It must be empty, or have the same kind of thing on top, with room to spare.
  3. A shelf holding four of one kind is finished: it glows and gets a tick.
  4. Tidy every shelf to finish the room. Fewer moves is neater: try to match the par.
  5. Stuck? Undo is free. A hint shows the next good move; one more shelf gives you extra room.

Controls

On a phone or tablet: Tap a shelf to pick up, tap another to put down. Tap the same shelf again to put things back.

On a desktop: Click a shelf, then click where it goes. Keys 1 to 9 pick shelves, arrows and Enter work too, Z undoes, H asks for a hint.

Tips

Questions

Can every room be finished?
Yes. Each room is made by starting from a tidy room and messing it up with moves that can be undone, then our solver checks it and sets the par. Our bot also plays the daily room through the screen before it goes live.
What is par?
The fewest moves our solver needs for the room. Matching it is a neat tidy; going over is fine. There's no timer unless you switch one on in Settings.
Is the daily room the same for everyone?
Yes. Everyone gets the same room on the same day, so you can compare moves with friends. It changes at midnight where you are.
Is it free?
Yes. The daily room, two extra rooms a day and Endless are free. One hint a day is free. While Suvi is new, a few more hints, or one more shelf, are on us, with no ad to watch.
Can I play if I find colors hard to tell apart?
Yes. Every item has its own shape as well as its own color, so a mug never looks like a jar even in black and white.
